How can you get involved?

There are many ways that you can get involved with The Arc of Nassau County from making a donation to volunteering or even becoming an employee. Any level that you can provide will go towards helping out those in need in our community. Below are descriptions of ways you can become involved.

Join Our Association

The Arc of Nassau County is an association that advocates for persons with disabilities and educates the public and public officials on important issues and priorities. Individuals, families, businesses and large corporations make up our association membership.

An annual membership fees are grouped into membership levels. The levels are Friend($15), Seniors 65 and older($10), Individual($25), Family($35), Business($100), Corporate($1,000) and ARC Angel($2,000).

To join the association mail a check payable to The Arc of Nassau indicating the type membership. Renewal fees are due on October 1st each year. Mail your check to The Arc of Nassau County, 86051 Hamilton Street, Yulee FL 32097.

Donate Needed Items

The Arc of Nassau County accepts donations for items on our current needs list. Items needed at this time are:

• Light weight arm chairs with four straight legs
• Television (32" or larger)
• Digital Camera
• Concrete for a new driveway
• 2 Outdoor flag poles with US and FL flags
• Music CD player
• Touch screen computers
• Laptop computer
• Books and magazines with lots of pictures

Become a Volunteer

The Arc of Nassau County is always in need of volunteers to help with our programs and special projects. Some of these provide an opportunity to interact closely with our clients while others are more of an administrative or program nature. Some may also be appropriate for groups as well as individuals.

Apply for employment

You can fill out an employment application to fill any of our current job vacancies. You will need to apply in person at our training center located at 86051 Hamilton Street in Yulee, Florida. Our office is located approximately one mile north of the intersection of State Road 200 (A1A) and US 17. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
